Distortion

This work looks at human movement through the changes over time, how emotions shift in just seconds. I’m bringing the idea of time, usually something you see in video, into a painting. By capturing multiple moments in one image, I want to show how real and layered life really is.

One moment isn’t enough to show who someone truly is. Emotions go up and down, people are fragile, and there’s always more beneath the surface, just like a stranger won’t know someone’s past lives, whether those moments stay quietly in the past or remain hidden deep inside. It comes from looking deeper, turning back inward, toward the soul.
